Can anyone point me towards a foolproof one.. or give instructions.. I love the smokey eyed look but it always makes me look like a druggie :frowning:

Also, which diff brands of shadow are best for this particular look?

what colour do you want ur smokey eye to be?

For a simple smokey eye I use a lighter colour in the inner corner of the eyes then a darker colour on the ends. I use a dark pencil or a darker eye shadow to line my eyes then use a pencil brush to smudge it out. I run the darker shadow at the bottom of the eye too, then I use fluid line in the water line and finish off with mascara.

IMO no smokey eye is complete without filling in ur brows

I don't think there is a fool proof step by step guide on smokey eyes. You just got to practice x eleventy billion.

Sometimes I get it (I think), sometimes I don't, im very hit and miss and that's cos a) I no have the patience to spend more than 20 mins on make ups and b) I very rarely wear make ups.
