there used to be a time when gs had only a dozen smilies, and most people knew how to read and write sentences. there used to be paragraphs. funny ones. sensible ones. sounds like a fairytale now, i know. :teary1:

To curb the eventual flooding from the Cafe clan, you gotta follow the following two pieces of instructions:

1. WHY you hate them? At least state in a sentence, but don’t go over a paragraph length to explain a simple question asked.

2. List only 3, yes only 3, yes only 3.

I’ll start:

- This one is thrown out like good for nothing celebrities churn out x-rated home videos to take away attention from their otherwise lackluster careers. Really grinds my gears when it’s used to admire an underwhelming post just cuz the person voiced an opinion similar to yours.
- Now popular media has always perpetuated the image of a serene, witty, humorous patriarch of the family hiding behind the newspaper and tea adding their often-sought but rarely given nuggets of wisdom. Imagine then my disappointment when this simile often follows unwisely pieces of utterance.

- As long as its not used in reference to me, its all good, in fact very emphatic. If you want to show your absolute derision for something, type no more, just post this.
