I do not have any kidney diseases or infections. I am all good. My extensive knowledge about biology does tell me why UTI happens and how:chai: I do not need to be told about that. Just did not know how burning sensation related with odour.
And you people are presuming the colour change, the dark colour. I never said my urine changed colour

its the iron tablets for sure...they give off odor in the urine.
however if you are having a burning sensation then that could be a sign of a UTI....get it checked before it gets unbearable. better safe then sorry....nvr hurts to get it checked even if its nothing.

I had a similar sensation and I thought I felt that way because I wasn't drinking enough water. Which was true.......I WASN'T drinking enough water. So, I loaded myself up on water for a couple of days and it provided considerable relief but the symptoms didn't go away. I had a feeling it was a UTI and when i went to the doc, i turned out to be right. He gave me antibiotics and it cleared up in 3-4 days.
A UTI is more common in women than in men. And it can be caused by various reasons. So, if you're not finding relief, go get it checked out by a doctor.

Alright if it is not the water will then definitely go to the doctor. However it is more of the smell rather than the burning sensation. That just comes and goes.

Hmm....what do you mean by it's still the same? Do you mean that you still have the odor and the burning sensation after discontinuing use of iron tablets?
If so....load up on water. You might be in for a UTI.
