^^ so true…stress is really bad for health, since i decided to get rid of stress, i’ve lost 20kg!
not only roses, and other nice smelly flowers but anything natural, I mean take time to smell the earth after the rain
the pinetrees in the park…get back to smell sense as it’s too overlooked in daily stressfull life full of agressive visual and sound ads!
i don't know PCG, i think i am also gonna learn these words of wisdom the hard way. right now my life is soooooooooo messed up, and i don't see it calming down or getting better any time soon so its really hard not to stress :(
hmmmmm.....what if you dont have TIME to stop for a sec even in your life and smell flowers and see squirrels jumping around and birds singing songs.....we have become so lathergic and sooooooo boringgggggggg....and who took our aesthetic sense away...????
Your rite…sometimes we keep tagging along in this thing called life, and then some day, something may happen, that will open our eyes and remind us that life is too short to be angry, or to hold on to pain, or let our whole lives just zoom by…sometimes we need a little nudge in the rite direction, and sometimes we can be so stuborn about holding on to wotever is undoubtedly causing us so much stress, that we r lucky if someone is there for us, to help us keep on going…as the saying goes, life is too short…don’t let it pass u by…thanks for the reminder PCG, i feel better just reading about smelling flowers:flower2:…and it definately shows thru from ur posts, that u r perhaps less stressed thesedays, as u’ve been much more open-minded and haven’t been jumping on ppl as much here lolz!
P.S: did i read it correctly in another thread, that u r getting married soon? Congratulations!
What also helps people who can't seem to see anything positive, is take a copy and write 5 positive things in it every day. If you don't find anything positive, force your self to still find something, it really has to be 5. It could be something small, like enjoying the sound of raindrops, or the warmth of sunlight, or the smile of your child, or accomplishing something good at work or school, even if it seems small. It really does help.
I once read in a magazine that people usually remember the negative things and tend to forget the positive onces. It said that for example people driving cars complain the light almost always turns red for them and doesn't stay green, forgetting very often they also don't have to stop. Or people using public transport always remember it's too late while often it's on time. (the last point I can't really agree with, here the trains are often late, or maybe I'm not seeing the positive side of that, heehee).
