Smart Anti-Virus software on net....Help

There are two queries/help regarding Smart & effective anti virus softwares.

  1. What are the rating of Best Free anti viruses & easy to install in firewall (Lan) also.

  2. Most of the Anti Viruses search viruses but DO NOT REPAIR, instead move it to quarantine or Delete.
    Does any body have LINKS to those Free,effective, light, easy to update & repaired option anti virus softwares?

McAfee, Kasperky, Symantec all provide feel virus removal tools.

If you’re looking for an all inclusive program, i’ve heard avast to be okay in that regard. It’s free as well. avast! Virus Cleaner - free virus removal tool

you can rely on only one antivirus. Each one of them is good for some of it work. About free antivirus there is non that is so called best. May be avira antivirus

Avira is also good ,light & easily updated but without repair option!!!

Comodo firewall works great, also use their antivirus after NOD32.. Also have AVAST.

I know even if you delete the file till then the virus penetrates to system root folder and you cant do anything more..

What is the best option? if Anti virus detects any virus & what is the best treatment? 'move it to quarantine' or 'Detete'it, because may be some 'exe' or 'dll' or 'ini' file may may infected & deleted and creates problems for software.

Any advise?

I cant say about free ones. When they cant repair a system file infected with virus they even cant quarantine or delete the system file, as those files are in system use and for time being locked to the processes. Free antivirus are OK for little virus or for a virus file that land for the first time on pc.
