**Seven suspects of target killings arrested in Karachi
**KARACHI: Police and the Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday arrested seven more suspected target killers from different areas of Karachi and recovered weapons from their possession, DawnNews reported.
The CID raided the area of Pak Colony and arrested a worker of a political party, Miraj alias Qasai, and recovered a Kalashnikov from him. Police claimed that Qasai was involved in target killings of PPP workers.
Saddar Town police took into custody four suspects from the area of Upper Gizri. Superintendent Police (SP) Saddar, Tariq Dharijo, said that the suspects had admitted that they were involved in eight incidents of target killings.

Meanwhile, another suspect Zafar alias Andha was picked up by police during a raid in Saudabad. SP Shah Faisal Town Chaudhry Asad said that Andha was also involved in target killings.**
Four suspects were also arrested in Pak Colony, police claimed that one of the suspects was involved in four incidents of target killings.

Police also recovered a large cache of arms from them.**

it's just a drama...they all have very conveniently confessed to killings...this makes me puke!...i bet you they will NOT see a day in the courts. just like before, there will NOT be any 'eye witnesses' and they will be let go. ALL this exercise is just a political maneuvering and/or a political stunt-baazii...we'll see!!!

And all those caught have an alias ? What kind of drama is that , anybody who is caught for these crimes have an alias , andha , langra , qasai , mirasee. Their leaders have respectable names and their chamchas have alias.

what crazy name they attached with them!! Andha,Qasai,Pahadi,Langda,Tunda etc, hope this will continued to cleanup the city as far as it possibile for security agencies. our hope and wishes/prayers for a peacefull friendly and lightfull karahi.

This is not permanent solution. They did a cleanup operation some time ago , what did that achieve ? Nothing , zilch , nada , zero we saw worst violence in Karachi recently. The only solution is to uplift all those poor areas which become worst hit by violence and people look at ethnic hate mongers as their leaders who tell them that other ethnic group is responsible for their misery. Mohajirs want to create Jinah pur , Punjabies have grabbed all government jobs , Pathan transporters are killing mohajirs on roads with their trucks and buses etc etc. And these people from those poor areas conveniently believe this BS and go on a killing spree.
You empower those poor areas with education, schools , job skills and get them busy in earning an honest day's living and you will see end of all this violence.

Actually it was only Allah who helped people of Karachi.
Hope Allah will also help us in Baluchistan,KP,Pindi and Lahore.

Not really. Target killings continued even after Mirza was gone. As AP said the turning point was Mirza's press conference followed by Scotland Yard episode and then everyone like Rehman Malik, Rangers, CJ etc...is claiming piece of credit pie:)
