Slow browsing even though having a good Internet download speed

what configuration have to be done to resolve the slow browsing? when i connect the LAN wire directly with the modem it works somewhat fine but as soon as i connect it through router i face slow browsing.I got it checked by the service provider and the guy said everything is fine nothing is wrong with the speed or browsing but i am not at all satisfied with my browsing.

Perform Virus/Malware scan.
Try different browsers.
Try different wifi channels
befor that do a speed test

Speed test done a thousand times
Tried all browsers
Virus scan done,i have also tried disabling antivirus.
I don't know how to try different wifi channels.what's that? You mean different ip's?

No Not different IP.
restart your wifi router.
and u must've deleted history and temp files already.

remove them half dozen search bars and add-ons from ur browsers.
change wifi channels to auto.
if it doesnt help ...i dont know what will
lol

Removed, i am using no add ons.
Thanks DMD the only thing i don’t know is how to reset router.

just the power plug. And yes GS is slow. gateway time out error i am getting again and again
