Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants

filhal tu sirf 10,000 Muslim hain Slovakia mein…lakin Masjid banay ki Ijazat nahin hai!

Most of the Muslims in Slovakia are refugees from former Yugoslavia (Bosnians and Albanians)[citation needed] or workers from modern Turkey (Turks )[citation needed], beside them a few Arab students. Most of the Muslims live in the capital Bratislava, smaller communities also exist in Košice and Martin[citation needed]. A few of the immigrants became Slovak citizen and additionally 150 Slovaks converted to Islam[citation needed] since the end of Communism (1990) and the independence (1993).

Slovakia is the last member state of the European Union without a mosque.[3] In 2000, a dispute erupted about the building of an Islamic centre in Bratislava: the capital’s mayor refused such attempts of the Slovak Islamic Waqfs Foundation.

In 2015, amidst the European migrant crisis, Slovakia admitted 200 asylum seekers of Christian faith, but refused to accept Muslim refugees under an EU scheme to share migrants between member states. Slovak Ministry of Interior Affairs explained this decision by the absence of Muslim places of worship in Slovakia which will allegedly complicate the refugees’ integration in Slovak society. The decision was criticised by the EU which doubted its legality and expressed concern for its discriminatory nature.[4]

Masjid na hoanay se jub sarkoan pe Namaz parhain ge tu logoun mein Islam ke dawat khud he hoa jai gi!

Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants

Replace "Muslim" with any other religious or ethnic group and suddenly it doesnt sound all that reasonable.

As far as integration goes, how well do Hasidic jews integrate with locals New Yorker's? As far as trouble makers go, they say the same about Blacks, but people would cringe at the thought that any place would use that as an excuse to exclude them...

It would be preferable if they said they wouldnt take any immigrants at all, but alas, some of these European countries need to import labor.

Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants

After fear of extremism from Muslims, this is second thing on their mind.
In russia church cant even reasonable cove up their efforts to keep their own ppl away form islam.

Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants

I heard a fellow worker mention something quite unusual, the man is an Engineer from Serbia, he said the Quran is such a powerful book, he said some friends of his converted to Islam just by reading the Holy Quran out of curiosity...no outside invitation!

Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants

This is just sad. Muslims should wake up, take notice, and do some introspection. I don't blame them. If I avoid these paindoo backwards type muslims, then what do you expect from non-muslims??

Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants

The problem isn't Islam. It's not what's in the Quran.

It's how muslims are behaving, and carrying themselves in non-muslim countries. They isolate themselves to the point that it's almost cult-like behavior. I go to some mosques even in the US, and the girls' section is a flood of abayas. Even women wearing plain shalwaar kameez which is a totally acceptable clothing to wear to a masjid, feel like they're not dressed properly. Sometimes we get told upfront that our "modest" clothing isn't modest enough. I've been told when wearing long sleeves that my sleeves weren't long enough. Like WTH. I get told my namaz won't be accepted, because I wore a dupatta over jeans, and I should have worn an abaya.

I mean it's ridiculous. Same thing with the guys. You don't have a beard, so you can't sit on the masjid board of directors. Kyun bhai? What's with this religious thekadaari?? The ignorant people are leading and ignorant people are following.

Last I checked, the Quran doesn't sit there and go on and on about length of your sleeves, or how much hair should be covered, or how long your beard should be, or whether one should wear only ARABIC clothes, or whether ARABIC should be the language of choice for everything, and doesn't talk about dress or language codes to the length we make all this a big deal!!

I have a religious colleague - very into Islam. And even he says - it's become a cult.

That's sad. It's sad when namaazi people start saying this about our people.
