Re: Slovakia will not accept any Muslim immigrants
The problem isn’t Islam. It’s not what’s in the Quran.
It’s how muslims are behaving, and carrying themselves in non-muslim countries. They isolate themselves to the point that it’s almost cult-like behavior. I go to some mosques even in the US, and the girls’ section is a flood of abayas. Even women wearing plain shalwaar kameez which is a totally acceptable clothing to wear to a masjid, feel like they’re not dressed properly. Sometimes we get told upfront that our “modest” clothing isn’t modest enough. I’ve been told when wearing long sleeves that my sleeves weren’t long enough. Like WTH. I get told my namaz won’t be accepted, because I wore a dupatta over jeans, and I should have worn an abaya.
I mean it’s ridiculous. Same thing with the guys. You don’t have a beard, so you can’t sit on the masjid board of directors. Kyun bhai? What’s with this religious thekadaari?? The ignorant people are leading and ignorant people are following.
Last I checked, the Quran doesn’t sit there and go on and on about length of your sleeves, or how much hair should be covered, or how long your beard should be, or whether one should wear only ARABIC clothes, or whether ARABIC should be the language of choice for everything, and doesn’t talk about dress or language codes to the length we make all this a big deal!!
I have a religious colleague - very into Islam. And even he says - it’s become a cult.
That’s sad. It’s sad when namaazi people start saying this about our people.
