**Slogan mongers against Pakistan, Army should be gunned down: Shujaat **Geo News: Latest News Breaking, Live Videos, World, Entertainment, Royal KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League president, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that prior to restraining media, those slogan mongers, who keep shouting slogans against Pakistan and the Army should be banned rather gunned down.
Talking to Geo News program “Subah Say Geo Mein’, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that no Pakistani could accept the voicing of slogans against the Army by the lawyers in the presence of the Chief Justice sitting in the Supreme Court and queried what such misfortune has taken place that offending slogans against the Army be raised.
However, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said, “We still want that the matter be resolved amicably.” He stressed upon adherence to the code of conduct in this regard.
Regarding Mir Zafrullah Khan Jamali and Pir Pagara’s statement saying elections unlikely to be held, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain told that the policy of the government was quite clear that elections would be held on schedule and the government has no intention to delay it.
Muslim League president said that Mir Zafrullah Khan Jamali’s dissent was of personal nature and he doesn’t even consider it proper reading Jamali’s statements in detail. As regards United Muslim League, Chaudhry Shujaat said that Jamali or any one else could form another party, which was permissible in the constitution.

Though i do not support chanting slogans against the very institutions which has laid blood not only in borders but very recently done excellent services in Kashmir Earthquake. No government agency was able to carry out this huge task which army did and they never got a single penny extra to serve in those chilly winters. But in this case Shujaat is going overboard. You can condemn this act but in a democracy nothing is above criticism.

you are right, but what i meant to say is not to brush aside all the good deeds. After all we are not only spending money on army but also many civilian institutions who were supposed to manage crisis in Pakistan. They practically melted away in aftermath of Earth Quake but a brigadier of Pakistan Army refused to attend his daughters Jenaza because he had to manage the relief work. So the institution is a very good one but being maligned because of the boss who was appointed by the civilian prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The institution is not designed to remove its boss. so lets keep the fingers crossed and wait for his removal.
I think we must lament Nawaz Sharif for the stupid and malafide decision of appointing him as army chief. He cannot be absolved of his responsibility of making an extremely cunning decision to keep Gohar Ayub factor getting all to powerful in his party (Ali Quli khan was relative of Gohar Ayub)

In a democracy people have the right to attack any institution. The army is becoming part of the problem rather than the solution. Until the people rise up and are prepared for sacrifices the fate of the country will not change. The western democracies have been built upon the struggles of their people in the past.

If the most corrupt person in Pakistan is forgiven by the man who came to clean the system and made his right hand man than at least forgive him for chanting "His masters Voice". Shujaat is as low as you can get in Pakistan.

The people that supported the dictator wanted a better future, reforms, free media, independent judiciary, strengthening of institutions, getting rid of the previous corrupt leaders. As the dictator shows his true colours these very people are beginning to desert him. This is a shame as if he made the right decisions the public would have continued to support him.
He needs to seek legal advice before making any decisions and secondly to make the right and correct decisions rather than decisions that are politically expedient. He also needs to realise that every product has a limited shelf life, he will have to go one day and he needs to prepare the country for that time.

This army is an Army in name only... They are land lords, bussines men, and feudal lords, you name it... The Army has lost all respect, it is a corrupt institution that is a laibility, nothing more. The Army is no longer worried about welfare of the state, hence the tragedy in Karachi, and the free reign of relgious fanatics.
The Armies only goal is its own bussiness intrests, that keep the top brass living in posh defense areas, all at the expense of the rest of the country.

The people of Pakistan are the true people that have lost it! What does the army have to do with May 12th? It was the responsibility of the police to take care of this internal bull**** not the Military of Pakistan. If the army was not concerned they would not have worked in the Earthquake area and they would not bother flying their C-130's for PIA when they grounded the fokkers.

Yes, but underline word is democracy, and we don't have that. Also, national crooks should also meet the same fate, and in that case Shujaat should be the 1st.
