I dunno whats the fancy word for the scars left after the blisters…its summer time and whenever I wear new sandals or slippers.. I do get blisters and that eventually leads to a scar on my foot..some of them just faded away as the time passed by but I still have one right next to my toes, its pretty small but looks ugly as its a dead skin nonetheless.
is there any medication or desi remedy available out there?
I guess I spend more time in washing my feet than I do for my face :$ but this stupid scar refuses to go.. probably pretty emotinally attached with me .:(
hey I just checked your thread for ugly toes.. did that scurb make any difference to scars on the foot or it "just" feels good?
^ honestly.. it just feels good.. ive damaged my toes even more using that "stone" thing which i dont know the name of... but im in denial. I actually think its working
personally, id only moisturise and put socks on before going to bed..
p.s my toes arent THAT ugly.. but good enuff to be
are you talking about terra cotta foot scrubber or pumice stone that actually exfoliates the dry skin from the feet? seems like a good idea, I might give it a shot. Thanx :-)
PS: i know you can't have ugly toes, its just all of us(grls) are used to exaggerate a bit like, I am fat and weighing 100 Ibs or I am ugly and infact is very attractive, so I guess your feet are pretty too. feels good, right? :)
yeah thats it.. the pumice stone i didnt know what to call it.. yeah try that, but dont be like me and scrub the actual skin off.. cus now my toes are in paiinn…
ive got scars from the slippers i wear at home too, on the bridge of my foot and on my toes and its looks hecka oooogly looks bad and every day i look at my feet and tell myself im gona do something abt it…but then i cant be bothered i havent even gone to get new slippers, and i keep wearing the old ones im like abhee kon sa koi mere paaon dekh rha hae, the sandals i wear to office cover the scars so im like there hidden so no need to worry…
but thanks for the reminder..i need to get new slippers and i need to take care of these scars man…i aint doing this pumice stone shone mumjo jumbo tho…might get a pedicure from the parlor if i get time this weekend…warna i’ll just leave them aur khud hi do teen hafton mein scars chalay jayein ge…i aint got time to spend on my face…dhul jata hay wohi bari baat hae, phir feet to doore kee baat hae :halo:
sadzz: alritey, I 'll be gentle with it but I dun have time until mid-August, so my adventure is gonna get delayed, anywayz I hope it will work. :-)
Irem: I guess, sandals or slippers hurt only when they are new and thats how they leave the scars.. if your slippers are not giving you trouble anymore, you dun have to buy the new ones...opzz look who is saying this.. I was talking to my roommate last nite that I feel like buying new slippers, and she was rolling her eyes that where would you keep them, you got shoes all over in the room. Irem, now you go ahead and buy a new pair of sandals, life is short. :-D
cat-woman: shoes and socks in summer is only when I go to work since we are not allowed to wear open toes slippers there, other than that, I hate wearing shoes during the summer.
I also get the same prob with some of my sandals.
My scars last a long time but recently I have been getting pedicures
regularly. It makes your feet look sooo nice even if they are a
bit scarred.

why don't u try sun tan lotion on your feet when going out? :)
It must get pretty hot with socks and shoes.
