Hello,
Does anyone know of any good places in toronto (or around the area: mississauga, markham, brampton, vaughn, scarborough, etc) to get corsets or body shaping undergarments to wear for the wedding.
Any websites to order from would be great too 
Has anyone tried “slim and lift”?

sophia’s lingerie on the danforth is AWESOME. they’re all pros and have been fitting people for years, so they really know what size/style works best for you.

slimming undergarments just move the bulge from 1 part of the body 2 another..like itll move bulge from thight to lower butt...and from stomach to upper mnidriff

i mean if you're expectation is to go from a size 16 to a size 4 just because of a bustier/corset/shape wear thingie, then yes, you're right, its highly unrealistic and will just move the bulges from one to another. but if you're already fairly fit and need to just be pulled in and smoothed out, then no, it won't do that.

I'm pretty slim-average weight but I just want a thinner waist line.

i think you have to visit and figure it out with them- but yes, i'm almost 100% sure they sell corsets. you can always call them and ask too :)

i was slim when i wore it..and it was nice quality..maybe they are different now..

ive heard "Spanx" is really good. Saw it on Opera and in a bunch of magazines....yet to try it myself ;) you can head to Nordstorm if your in the states to get one or can order one online from thier website spanx(dot) com I cant post urls but u guys are smart enough to figure it out :)]

yeah they sell spanx at the bay.
I just bought the "Spanx" ones a few days ago from the mall. They sell them in some of the clothing stores, I found them at Scarborough Town Centre. They're quite good at making dresses go on nicer, you can take a look at the sizing charts online too.

Spanx works well but get the higher power spanx. they go right up under the bustline and slim down to the thighs. the regular ones can cause a small muffin top to happen.

in UK you can buy spanx in Harvey Nichols (Leeds/Birmingham/Macnhester/London etc)

Try Sanaullah's in sadar and also Intimate Boutique (branches near Gulf in Clifton, Hydery market top floor in main market and Tariq Road). Not sure what brands you can get there. Also you may try The Point and The forum in Clifton to see if they have those kinds of things avaialable there.

Yup! That's the one that's the Intimate now I believe. Intimate sells Triumph products!
