Re: Slimming Teas
What about Wu Long?
Re: Slimming Teas
well ive been drinking the original wu-long and the regular oo-long for months now... however, on and off. no specific drastic weight changes. but haven't put on any excess either. im gettin married in a month insha'Allah and i obviously didn't want to put on a single pound so i bought this other slimming tea from shoppers last week. it's called dieter's tea and it totalllllly upset my stomach! i was discussing that with a friend and she told me that that's how they work. whatever you eat gets disposed off instantly...
however, last night i just happened to carefully read the instructions on the box, n it clearly said that if u experience diarrhea or stomach ache n the works, then do NOT (underlined n all..) use this tea.
i was infact thinkin of discussing this over here, incase there's any health professionals who can put in their two cents.
as of now, im just back to my oolong!
Re: Slimming Teas
I have tried them..or say still trying them..i haven,t seen any changes..BUT..one person i know swears by the green tea..i don,t know..if it actually works..!
Re: Slimming Teas
How much should the quantity of these teas - white/green/oo-long/wu-long - be taken to see a gradual weight decline or a stopping point where the weight remains constant?
What are the long-term effects/benefits of taking slimming teas?
Re: Slimming Teas
eh just pop some caffene and green tea extract pills and drink so oolong tea or whatever...
Re: Slimming Teas

Re: Slimming Teas
i tried the dieters tea.. stopped using it … gave me weird strong stomache pain ![]()
Re: Slimming Teas
dont drink slimming teas...... instead have green tea.
slimming teas have herbs which takes out more fluid and nutrients then required. not the best thing to take.
drink 6-8 glasses of water.. ... and gree tea at least once a day. without sugar. it will help u better!!
Re: Slimming Teas
well basically the oolong tea is a variation of green tea. ive been hooked onto it for a while now. mostly twice in a day or so. and yeah! nothin beats pure water-consumption! my mom's been tellin me for years that one cup of tea/coffee takes away two glasses of water. so i try to work around that each time i have oolong!
basically all these teas speed up your metabolism. so it's best to have them soon after your meals.
dhobi-bhai, stay consistent for atleast a month. you should see/feel a difference even before! (obviously, none of this is magic. a healthy diet is imperative for any kind of a weight-loss strategy to work) :)
