What’s the best (ideally free :D) software that lets you create slideshows from pics and edit them with your own music etc?

I used to use rockyou until they made the effects a lttle too ‘teen girl’ and glittery for my liking.

Is Picassa any good?

what do you mean there "edit them with your own music"?

Picassa doest seem any different than iMovie to me. but these softwares take load of time in rendering.

the things you have to do can easily be done on powerpoint. dont forget powerpoint is easily accessible everywhere.

p.s. last year i have seen some really great stuff people made on Power Point. and i am talking around 300 slides.

but lets see what other people gonna suggest.

I dont think there are any :(

Ive searched high and low myself :(

Every freeware i've downloaded is like a trial version with so many features disabled and just Blah.

In the end I gave up :(

I have a software, it lets you do exactly what you're asking for above, and it them makes a slideshow which you can burn on a DVD or you can watch it on your PC :D

I actually managed to do something I needed using the windows movie maker software that was already on my pc, but will check out the above links for something more user friendly :)

Windows movie maker and simple. It comes free on PC
