This one geared more to men. What are the advantages or disadvantages of bunyan with or without sleeves.
For those who do not know bunyan with sleeves is a T shirt style men’s undershirt and sleeveless bunyan is tank style undershirt. I never wore it while in Pakistan and even here in US I did not wear it till I started working in this office where they keep temperature at 68 F.
I prefer t shirt style because due to my allergy issue I cannot use any kind of underarm deodorant,even the hypo allergenic gives me allergy.
The other reason is that we the Muslims are supposed to keep underarm area hair shaved and in US if a man shaves that area and others see it they will label you as gay.

There is no real advantage or disadvantage of either of the type of banyan, except it soaks up sweat..
hmm..are u serious.. in US they label men who keep their underarm shaved or closely trimmed as gays?... we never have such problems here in Canada...

Sorry for intruding here, but I think the half sleeve ones are more becoming as they protect as well as hide well under the shirt. You can almost always make out the sleeveless banyans under a shirt and they look not so very nice

sleeveless banyaan is useless as its missing the fabric exactly where you need it to absorb the sweat

I agree, short seelved sounds a lot more comfortable.

i m in US , for many many years... never heard/or seen underarm hair shaved considerd gay. u must be in gay community :P just kidding.

Are you a Muslim male or a sardar jee. Sardar jee do not shave any hair. Muslim male are supposed to follow the tradition of our Holy Prophet(SAW) and shave our under arm hair and pubic hair on a regular basis. It is not mandatory but as I said a tradition of our Holy Prophet(SAW).

Then why you had the audacity to call the Muslim men gay who shave it ? Everything is not a joke. I had already mentioned that in West it is considered gayish and still you chose to get some fun out of it.

FYI there are loads of organic/herbal or natural deodorants out there, I think there are some pretty good ones you can buy over the internet. Have you tried any out?
