sleeping disorder or wat????

Assalamoalaikum

rite i need some advice, i’ve been having some serious problems with regards to sleeping 4 the past 2 years now! @ nite i just can’t seem to sleep well into the early hours of the morning and when i finally do doze off i find it impossible waking up early in the morning for uni and what have u.

i don’t know how to explain clearly but literally i’m so angry as i type that u won’t believe it… honestly i’ve never been so depressed over such a matter for a long long LONG time and this is now really getting out of hand, my pakistani g.p. doesn’t take me seriously, i’ve explained everything to him and the best response he comes up with is " aap aik pura din jaggain tu inshallah aglai din khud ba khud neend aa jayee gi"..

in the mornings i just switch my alarm off and go back to sleep.. my head just feels soo heavy, like 2 mann ki paiti as if i have wazan on top of my head??? when i try to lift my head from the pillow, my nape hurts like hell, sometimes the pain is ok to take and sometimes it isn’t…then my ammi hazoor tries to wake me up in the morning honestly and it takes ages to get me out of bed???

i feel i have narcolepsy but i’m seriously getting very worried now as i’ve often went into lecturers and seminars late cos of this stupid habit of oversleeping???

please suggest anything that can cure this prob for me and whomever suggest a remedy which works, i shall personally one day buy u a meal when we meet u have my word.

run or do cardio during the day. lift if possible (gym). you will sleep like a baby.

i'm not sure but it may be something to do with computer light, too much makes your eyes go heavy and effect sleep....try staying away from PCs at night times. I read about it somewhere...

Dont worry, you dont have narcolepsy. Narcoleptic patients usually go to sleep when they are just doing something. And then they wake up in minutes all fresh.
You are not depressed either, as depressed people usually sleep at the right time at night, and wake up very early and then cant go to sleep.
As ma mooli said, try to stay away from computer at night time. Stay up the whole day, even if yu have to drink coffee and then try to sleep at a fixed time the next night. InshaAllah you will sleep better. Some times people get too tired and because of that they cannot sleep either. I think your sleeo cycle is all messed up and if you try to do that, you will be able to fix it in a week or so.

good exercise is also recommended

also make a sleeping routine maybe u have very irrgular sleeping habits?

im jus wondering why u get this pain...check with another doc
