I think as we grow up, we do not take our sleep seriously. These days I am the same trouble. Do not know when was the last time I had full sleep.
How long do you sleep per day?
When was the last time you had a good night sleep?
Do you take naps?
Does less sleep effect your daily life?
Sleep is very important to me. I need 8-10 hours but have been surviving on less lately. I dont nap altho given the opportunity, I would fall asleep standing....In fact probly half asleep right now. My kids too sleep so important to them...Once they asleep i know its peace until morning. I even read somewhere that sleep makes you slim. trying to look for that.

I usually try to get 8-ish hours of sleep if I can...although I do have the wonderful ability to sleep almost anywhere at any time if I want to...comes very in handy :)

usually 6-7 hours but today i only had 2 hours of sleep i just couldn't sleep last night and now my head hurts :(

you can get your body used to less/more sleep.
I can be full of energy after 5 hours because I am used to it, when I was at uni i needed 8/9 otherwise i would be so sleepy.
adults need 6-8 hours on average to be healthy, any more than that and your plain idle :0)

I read somewhere that an adult body needs atleast 8 hours of sleep a day.
Any less and it stores that as a debt to be recovered.
So if on a particular day I sleep for 6 hours, my body stores 2 hours of sleep as debt that it'll recover down the lane somewhere.
Sleep is important. I do 3-4 hours 6 days a week.
On the weekend I do a 24 hour sleep session.

goos sleep from 7-10 hrs, any sleep less than 7hrs which does happen i take a nap for an hour and also makes me have a crapp day. :)

Normally I sleep for 8 hours daily but my sleep is very light and I wake up even when I turn side. I think my bed is too soft because I am kinda sunk in. I sleep good on firm surface. 8 hours is more than enough for me. I can even sleep for 6 hours and be fine.
Bottom line: I hate to sleep. If it were up to me, I would stay up 24/7.

just to recap the thread 4 out 10 people are happy with their sleep.
most of them feel grumpy and crappy if they don't get full sleep.
some take naps to fulfill their needs.
so if i make an asserstion that most people do not take sleep serioulsy or sleep is not in their priority list, i am correct?

rite now its 22.22 hrs i a feel very sleepy my eyes are hurting has i’ve only had 5-6hrs of sleep evrynite this week, during the festival holidays i slept for 8-10hrs but felt really tired cos a poss over slept tooo much.
then when u got alot of things on ur mund that aont help either. i pray before going to sleep and listen to a naat, does help sometimes.![]()

I fancy those days when I had to force myself out of bed, even after 10 straight hours of sleep.
Now, if I can sleep more than 6 hours, its a good sleep for me.
But on the other side, 6 or even 5 hours do not leave me with a grumpy day. I feel as fresh as I would be if I had a longer sleep.
Nap ? what is that ? :D
