my daughter is 2 years old and she is not sleeping well at night. she sleeps with me than i put her in her cot and she only stays there for few hours, twisting and turning and sometimes crying and hardly she is in deep sleep.
after few hours i would bring her to my bed but still she would wake up ever hour or 2nd hour.
and should would consume 3-4 bottles at night sometimes more, even after she is very well fed.
i want to reduce her milk intake and also at this stage she should only wake up one or twice.
i can not figure out wats wrong with her and how can i change her routine.
at her age dont give her milk during night, its bad for the teeth too. Instead give her plain water .. maybe she is just thirsty.
my daughter started sleeping through out the night mA with one year and we have a water bottle next to her bed just in case she needs it.
I try to fill her up before going to bed, so that she is not hungry during night.
I know what you are going through as my daughter was having eating and sleeping issues. I think she was teething. Have you tried feeding her a proper meal before putting her to sleep? I did read at the baby center website that kids around this age do have sleep issues. I have been trying to give her a bottle that's mostly thick cereal instead of milk and that keeps her full through the night.
