True, but rejuvenation isn't the same as regeneration of cells, or is it? I mean cell regeneration should be a long term process and the difference this process makes overnight should be quite limited?
Well it's like self-maintenance. Although one good-night sleep, alone, won't do significantly much to improve your skin. Over a period of time, it does contain most of the healthy skin cells and stretches them to their actual life, whereas, if u sleep less, your body isn't able to complete the 'maintenance' cycle each night and that piles on and effects the skin (in a bad way) in the long run.
People often get eye bags or circles around their eyes due to stress, lack of sleep, and a few other factors. That's a tell tale sign of ur body not being able to keep up with the demand.
