Some time but very rarely one listens or reads or it happens with him which refreshes the person for long. For example in my long life I have read hundreds of times in books by famous religious scholars, questions answers in weeklies/dailies, in lectures, in addresses in Maosque answer of a common question that during prayers all sorts of “imaginary discussions” start in the mind disturbing concentration. All such answers never could really give me any convincing to the heart reply. But about 10-15 years I was reading a general fictional type Digest which many think are waste of money, waste of time etc. It had a fictional story about a school where a “Jin” in shape of human being was the headmaster. What reply the digest gave answer question all of a sudden cooled my mind and in a minute I understood the answer and then never in my life that question created any confusion. A column appeared on 8/4/2009 in daily Nawai-waqat Lahore. The column is perhaps from Dr. Ajmal Niazi. Out of the whole column, one simple very beautiful sentence is there which to me is the best read during my last 3-4 years extensive reading. The column is on the topic of women protesting on the alleged flogging of a girl in Swat. The columnist in his own style comments on the protests of some prominent human and women rights protests like Asma Jehangir, Samreen Atharmin Allah, Sherry Rehman etc. The most important, the most beautiful, the most wonderfully naked truth and reality sentence reads “Ansar Burni is going to USA for protest but he would never go to Sawat”. Wonderful, Dr. Ajmal, wonderful. Salute to your vision Dr. Ajmal. I was then in Bahrain then about seven years back. Ansar Burni came there as a prisoners rights champion. A very prominent family just to honour him and get itself honoured made him guest at their villa despite the fact he was a stranger. The family was a high rich and as per their status served him. At the airport few prominent citizens and Pakistani community representatives came to see him off. It was a shame and too low when he mentioned few minute before entering the departing lounge that my status was so high but the family did not care for me to that. Dr. Niazi when during nineties Karachi was in extreme ethnic strife the center at that time was Green Town new the Karachi Airport. A few religious parties one day planned a “peace march”. Thousands of peace raising slogan workers marched from Star Gate Airport to the Green Town. Green Town at that time started about 200-300 yards away from the Main Drigh Road/National Highway. The protestors marched towards the Green Town, stopped themselves on the main road and turning their faces towards the Green Town from 200-300 yards started raising peace slogans waving their hands up, speeches advising the communities harmony, Allah’s blessing in unity including the most important reciting “Darood”. I was then stranded there due to traffic half caused by the procession. I cannot forget in whole life when an illiterate person sitting near me in the bus using some un-write-able words stated “if you have courage go inside the Town where there is the trouble and show you as elders are there but just waving 300 yards away why are you wasting time of we the travelers”.
