I PMed Shikra (aik number ka FOB hai vo) yesterday and gave him a list of slang words and I wanted him to give what he thought the definition of each word was.
Here is the list of words I gave him, and their real meanings:
gank - steal; jack.
wagwon - literally “what’s going on”
minute - a long time
chedder - money
bamma’ - hmm this is kinda hard to explain. Typical DC slang I’ll give an example: Like if a guy is walking down the street wearing adidas shoes, a nike shirt, and reebok sweatpants, he’s a bamma’. LOL
mug’h - I can’t give you what it really means, because it’s bad :nono:. But I can show you how it’s used “You as crazy as a mug’h!” hahaah
po-po - police =D
fly - cool; slick
pusher - dealer. (drug pusher = drug dealer)
junks - stuff
grills - teeth
grassbag/grassin’ up - tattletale/snitching
safe - cool; good; peace; okay
cracking - to punch. Like “Boy, I’ll crack you right in the mouf’ if you don’t shut yo’ trap rye now!”
drifter - a “player”; guy that goes around with various girls. :nono: very bad
geezer - dude; guy; man
gwan - literally “go on”
jump - to mug; rob
triflin’ - messed up; unfair; not right
amped - mad; angry
bounce - leave
…and here’s what Shikra wrote hahahha this just cracks me up =D
gank - empty minded
wagwon - dumb
minute - for a while
chedder - cheese
bamma’ - yo mama
mug’h - mug
po-po - grandfather
fly - go
pusher - someone who really pushes your limit
junks - trash
grills - grill
grassbag/grassin’ up = sucking up
safe - peace? kinda like see you later, take care
cracking - laughing
drifter - the one who changes his/her stance
geezer - geez
gwan - gone
jump - happy? or is it jump as in jump my car
triflin’ -
amped -
