SL is 34 runs ahead with 2 wickets down. 2-3 wickets in the morning session tomorrow could really boost India's chance. Who will take the 2-3 wks though? Sehwag again?

Amazing fight back by S. Lanka at one stage they were 87/7, 125/8 and now 234*/8 (109* unbeaten partnership between Mendis & Samaraweera .....

This is the highest 9th wicket partnership for Sri Lanka in tests (118). The previous highest was 105 between Vaas and Kulasekera versus England at Lords in 2006.

Mithun has finally got the break through for India! He spears in a good bouncer from wide of the crease on middle and leg, Samaraweera gets across and looks to help it on its way to fine leg but the ball flicks his gloves and goes straight to Dhoni who pouches it safely down the leg side! Tendu and Laxman (he is very under-rated) making it possible. Laxman is India's Ijaz Ahmed...always does well against Australia!!!

hahah Asif.. Sanga looks a bit stupid now... his captaincy on the last day was terrible.. the moment Sachin and Laxman looked a bit stable he stopped attacking them and spread the field.. for two world class players like Sachin and Laxman it became a piece of cake.. they just took singles regularly and killed the SL players' spirit. There was a comment on Cricinfo that Mahela was a much better captain.. Sanga should realize captaincy is much more than just being articulate. His arrogance (over what? a couple 200s in home soil?) can be his downfall.
Great win by India. They really did bat well on the last day. The bowlers (a bunch of kids.. with average experience of around 10 games only) finally took 20 wickets!!!!
This is the 2nd time this has happened in recent months. Scheduling only 2 tests with the #2 team SA was always a big risk of losing #1 (and then some people actually say Ind is trying to hold on to their #1 without giving others a fair chance)... they lost the first.. came back in the second strongly to level the series..
Looking forward to India on the road now. The SA tour should be epic. Sehwag vs Steyn!!!

waleed.. yes Aus vs Ind next...only 2 tests though... I expect India to win that 1-0 at least.. Australia is pretty ordinary in tests right now I think.. Bring on Steve Smith.. let's wreck with his head.. aja sub continent tereko batayen spin bowlers ki kaisa pant utarte hain hahaha.., on the last tour the India batters basically ended Jason Krezja's (however you spell it) international career.. I hope they really dent into Smith this time haha..
If Eng beat Pak 3-0 they will overtake Australia for #4.. how crazy will that be? Australia... AUSTRALIA.. wil be #5.. hahaha..
