umm what? by people do you mean the players?

board salaries are not the only thing that gives em money, they all have lucrative commercial contracts with companies, IPL and personal investments..

and none of the current SL players have been involved in fixing

Hat off to Sri Lankan cricketers, they keep on playing without making a scene. Many professional players have staged strikes or refused to play in these conditions.
