| I shall wait For the sky To unfold Various hues Hidden behind Its mood, That it rained yesterday And dampened My spirit In wet earthy aroma and the day Wrapped in green chador Of hope Invited All my faculties To drown In this gesture Of its magnanimity; But then Sky did a turn around Showing Its dark side, Getting rid of stars In one black sweep, Making invisible This earthy scene To naked eye Inner vision saw But Dark desires of earth Before It went to sleep However, Morning brought A clear sky Willing to abide By games of life; Sultry passions, sinister dejections All lay blended In decisive hue Between Clear blue And faint yellow That showed A sidewalk Lighted In its faint light And warm glow. |
