Best option…install older version of Skype.
Make sure Skype is excluded d from firewall.

Older version of Skype (desktop version vs the app on Windows 8).

Also, it may just be an issue with your pc’s memory. If you’re running a loaded OS + other apps, skype is HUGE and will def slow everything down.

Aside from the system, if web browsing is slow when Skype is running… it could just be your net speed. Run a speed test before you open skype, after you’ve started a skype call, and after an hour or more on the same call.

I remember when I used to skype, after a couple hours, if I didn’t disconnect and reconnect the call (cam or just voice), everything else got REALLY slow!

Haha thanks MM! My net is very fast though its Skype thats annoying. But I will install an older version today and let you guys know how it went :k:
