We often berate botham as being biased and all. But today Nasser Hussain, Micheal Atherton, Gower, Botham all were absolutely furiuos with Hair and supported Pakistan. Nasser specially has been my favorite commentator and but his rational approach and subsequent comments won over me and for the first time I felt that a gora actually shared the sentiments.
Ramiz Raja ki kya baat. He totally described my own personal feelings by saying that ’ I feel personally hurt being a pakistani with this decision and I salute Inzimam for first keeping his cool by staying on the field and then backing up honour and dignity’
Only sour note has been Holding who just kept repeating himself but we all know about him already.
I agree 100%. People will think that it was their job but believe me there still are people around who are using this situation as a platform to bash Pakistan.
also, i agree with Botham that it could only be solved after a formal statement from HAIR about why he made the call to change balls.
Thank you Sky Sports .... Ramiz did a hell of a job today ; he instigated the whole thing in the commentary box and did the smart thing, he let his collegues talk more and only intervened if they missed something or to bring other facts in consideration.
The real surprise package was Botham. I fully expected him to back umpires. But I guess that lost case against Imran Khan in 1992 has taught him a few lessons.
The real nail in the head came from Davild Lloyd: " I wonder what would happen had it been English team instead of Pakistanis" :)

After the Jones incident everyone is trying to be diplomatic, we should all know Botham is dancing with joy on the verdict of an English victory but yes hats off to him for atleast giving unbiased opinion on tv.
good thing is that Rameez Raja finally is favouring the Pakistan team and was very upset at the umpires. Rameez Raja has the tendency to bash Pakistanis whenever he feels like it
most of these commentators think that darrel hair should have given an explanation as to why he did what he did ,but according to a new stupid icc ruling umpires are not required to explain their motives or provide any evidence when charging somebody with ball tampering...what a stupid law this is.
