I have been thinking about it for quite sometime now, but was not willing to share here. But the intensity of such acts/ habits of a “particular” media has forced me to write the following.
There is a media that has the habit of overrating their players to such an extent that common people of their country start considering those players “something” out of this world, in some cases attribute to them as gods as well.
I wonder which galaxies would have that media attributed Imran khan, Miandad, Saeed Anwar, Inzi, Wasim, Waqar, Yusuf, Misbah…etc. with, had they belong to the country of that media.
Believe me, I am not sure of other players but certainly Imran khan would have been the sun and wasim would have been the moon of that media, only if they belonged to their respective countries.
And no, I don’t need to mention the name of that media, because their acts of “overrating” their own players and underrating foreign players are clearly apparent from their TV channels and online websites.
p.s. All medias do this but they do it to an unbearable extent, and I feel a time would come when even their own people would stop believing in what they have to say (exaggerate).
