I heard my friend talk about this and she calls herself skinnyfat?! I don’t understand it.
Re: skinnyfat
I do not understand this concept.
Re: skinnyfat

Maybe her wight is normal but she has some fat, like on her tummy. Ab exercises will do her a great amount of good if that's the case. If she is flabby overall, or as we say in Pakistan, dhili, she should start lifting light weights.
Re: skinnyfat
When someone is thin and looks great in clothes, but is all flabby underneath
Re: skinnyfat
Skinny-fat :phati:
Not entirely true. the ab exercise will strengthen the abdominal muscles but won’t necessarily reduce the fat on that area. to get rid of the fat a person has to do overall exercises along with diet since body uses fat from all over the body, not just 1 spot. if it did, things would be a whole lot easier
Re: skinnyfat
It is impossible to reduce fat from any one spot, but I’m assuming that a person with normal weight won’t have a LOT of fat. Such people often don’t really need to lose fat. They can hide that flabby looks by gaining some muscle.
Re: skinnyfat
i heard that last few inches are the toughest to lose.....and if someone has only those last 3-4 inches extra......its just really really tough...
can anybody confirm that?
Re: skinnyfat
Skinny fat is when you are skinny and fit from the outside but not from the inside. Means your fat to muscle ratio is higher. Following is a very informative video about this subject. It is especially important for the genetically blessed people who can eat whatever and don’t get fat from the outsider to know that all that bad eating habbits may be doing harm to you inside.

Not really that's not how it works. A skinny-fat person is still fat, it just seems like they're not. the fat ratio is still high for them, so even working out 1 part of the body won't do much, it just will make it so the fat's got a firmer place to stick around.
