Skincare suggestions needed...

Hi

I have combo, oily t zone skin n i have been using chanels purete range 4 couple of yrs now. Anyways, i tried their new hydra beauty line n it looks n feels quite nice so i m thinking of trying it as i sometimes in winter i get little dry patches around my mouth area n also on cheeks.

Now the questions r…

  1. Shud i buy the hydra serum n use it with my purete matifying fluid or shud i buy the hydra gel creme n use it with the purete serum.

  2. Can we use diff moisturisers or serums 4 diff parts of our face at the same time.

Re: Skincare suggestions needed…

itna paisey zayaaaaa. use dahi and egg white masks and honey and lemon face washes. so much cheaper :phati:

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...

Too lazy 2 prepare my own creams, lol.

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...

I was told not to mix matifying fluid with moisturizing cream.
I have similar issues with an oily area and some dry patches.

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...

Use almond or rosehip oil.

Re: Skincare suggestions needed…

Hmm wat do u mean? I use the purete serum + the matifying fluid, so im wondering which 1 of these is better to replace with hydra beauty? :bummer:

Wat do u use?

4 oiliness or dry patches?

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...

I prefer a very matte look and for this purpose wanted to buy a good matifying serum. When I explained my combination skin I was advised to avoid the matifying serum altogether and manage the oily areas by blotting.

I use the MAC's Marine Bright hydrating serum and cream twice a day and use matifying serum only on special occasions or for events when photographs will be taken.

I'm sorry but I don't know about the specific cream and serum that you are using..... perhaps someone with experience in that specific brand can offer some suggestions.....

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...

oh ok, i get it now :) thnx!

can i ask you, which matifying serum you use occcasionaly?

im also hoping someone who has experience with chanel products, can help me with these queries. thanks again.

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...

I have used a couple different ones......they all seem to work equally for me....there is one from dermaglow and I've also tried the one from MAC.

Re: Skincare suggestions needed...
