There are so many skin products on the market: cleansers, toners, moisturisers, exfoliators, skin peels…etc, etc. The list is endless, but is all of this really that necessary?

None of this was prevalent in my mother’s day; just a dollop of Nivea cream and she was good to go- in fact, my grandmother didn’t even go to this extent- and both have beautiful skin. So my question is, are we actually doing more harm than good?

That generation had a better diet than we did and weren’t exposed to as much pollution/technology
/etc as we are today
