Vitamin E will keep u're skin mositurized and help fade any blemishes. For whiteheads, scrub 2-3 times a week and cleanse, tone and mositurize. For the area around your lips use vaseline!
Try mineral makeup it's supposedly better for oily/acne-prone skin.
Use a loofah or exfoliating glove and lots of shower gel/warm water to release the hair trapped under-the-skin. Exfoliate before shaving and use a toner right after shaving… hyperpigmentation also occurs if the area is very dry so moisturize well.
You may try a lactic acid 12% wash like AmLactin, it will take time though.
My sis has hyperpigmentation and photosensitivity.
She is getting brown discoloration on her cheeks and its spread now to her forehead too and she is very depressed. She has tried dermatologists and everyone keeps telling her different story and she is sick of it all.
Any natural remedies for getting rid of the brown pigmentation which is tried & tested ?
Cinnamon powder and honey.. mix to make a paste and apply it to the pigmented area's only. She should use a high-factor sunblock at ALL times including when she's indoors.
She should leave it on for about 20-30 minutes. She needs just enough to make a uniform paste out of both MinX. Just make sure she uses a good sunblock all the time.
hi gina!! need ur help...now before i start i will give some info on my skin so it will be easier for u to suggest things
basically my skin type is normal and i'm also acne prone...i still get a few spots but my breakouts have decreased Alhamdulillah
i also have some brown marks that have ben left by the spots
now i need u to suggest some product for my skin that wont blow my budget e.g. face washes
Thank you in advance :)
yes i have...the derm said my marks are'nt bad enough for them to prescribe anything
is there anything i can do to speed up the process of fading?
and please can u suggest a face wash or something from the body shop for everyday use to clean my face
something that wont strip my skin and make it dry
because i'm gonna purchase some products from there anyway so what would u suggest?
thnx

p.s. do u think i should get microdermabrasion done??
I see docs on tv (morning shows) recommending putting on collagen on face for acne scars but i doubt it would go in the skin that deep to actually have an effect. Any thoughts?
anyway to reduce melanin on the legs? i used some tanning shower gel accidentally it was a 'glow' product.. its been 1 month and my melanin count is high as ever i cannot get my laser on legs done :( any tips to lighten the area asap as my nurse wont laser me!
Collagen molecules are said to be ‘too large’ to actually sink-in down tot he dermis to bring about a noticeable change. However, topical application will give your skin clarity and make it smooth

If your scars aren't really dark, ask them to prescribe a HQ gel/cream with inbuilt sunblock. OR get glycolic peels done, microderm doesn't really lighten scars, it's just as good as a very very fine scrub.
i'm looking to get some cleansers or face washes from the body shop for every day use to clean my face
i need something that wont dry out my skin and strip it
so what would u suggest??

i know this has probably already been asked, sorry, but i have alot of white patches on my face. is there anything i can do to get rid of them? i have a really uneven skin tone - really depressing!
