On here we talk alot about natural products, besan, haldi, ubtan.
Im sure these work on alot of people who have the time!
But i just made a huge mess when im making these things, and to use them every day is very difficult!
I really want to make my skin complexion even, i have a few acne scars, and i want some radiance too!
Has anyone had any experience with any shop bought products?
Im prepared to pay a little more if its worth it!
Or anyone have anything which is easy to do at home?

Alvena, 1st things 1st
when trying to get rid of scars...if you are treating them with say retinol or HQ, it is verrrry important to wear high spf sunscreen or else your treatment will not give you any results.
personally, i have had good results with skinceuticals retinol 1% and obagi . I didnt have an extreme case of acne, or scarring..in such cases it is best to see your derm.
Generally you will see results within a week.
The cream i mentioned earlier (sisley's buffing cream) is an absolute lifesaver.
you will need a good glycolic face wash
amlactin lotion (has buffered 13% lactic acid for hydrating and even tone -- use it for body only)
for face use a glycolic/hyaluronic serum--platinumskincare.com has a great one.
you shouldnt use too many products...just pick and choose according to your need..

i had a look at the sisley buffing cream....and i have looked at a few other products too!
I dont have any acne anymore apart form the odd breakout which i have a great spot treatment for by organics. My scarring isnt awful but its still annoying.
Other ones which i was considering were-
Shiseido white leucency face masks- about $80 or 40ish pounds- these masks are supposed to get rid of dark spots, clean up complexion and make your skin glow- it has very good reviews
Claudalie vinoperfect radiance serum- similar in price but with very mixed reviews- its supposed to fade dark spots and make skin look radiant over time- but some reviews say its not worth it at all
Sisley paris facial buffing cream-again simialr in price- but not sure exactly what it does!
Im prepared to spend the money but not waste the money.
Ill look at obagi products now!

Ok so i went shopping today to buy something for my skin.
I really wanted something to help my pigmentation, get an even skin tone and make my skin more radiant.
For the past week i have been drinking loads of water, excercising and doing the cleanse tone moisturise routine with just average products and rubbing lemon on my face and some of my marks are fading!
So i was looking for something to improve overall tone and radiance....i bought the sisley facial buff cream that chanda recommended and i will start using it from today.
Ill keep you ladies updated on how it goes!

^i followed sumorani's rec and bought the shiseido 4-step program...that is, the cleaser, toner, brightening spot-treatment and moisturizer/spf. it is definitely worth the money, i noticed results within a month. before i bought the spot treatment though, i got samples from sephora and then bought the real thing once i was sure it worked cause its quite expensive. you can get the rest of it for about $50.

I did look at the shiseido stuff and the beauty manager at the shop i went to (john lewis in england, similar to bloomingdales/sephora) said if im not too worried about pigmentation anymore then the sisley stuff is amazing to fit into my routine and will result in me having a much better complexion and look radiant.
It was slightly cheaper in price and had raving reviews from all the sales girls so i went for it!
If im not happy with the product i think i will try shiseido the 10 mask thingy. I alread have a very good and cheap spot treatment from origins and im happy with my cleanser and toner which have shown be good results if use them twice a day!

Shiseido for the win!! Use it!! They also have this sponge thing I forgot the name, you're to use it once every week .. the radiance you get with that is just OMG! It isnt the one people talk about and nobody sees .. it'll be there and you'll actually see it, and so will everybody else!
I had some scars, I used loccitane lavendar vinegar for it .. worked wonders!

does Shiseido help with face discoloration? such as my forehead is darker than my face wuld it help tone it and make it normal 1 skin tone?

I read the reviews for Shiseido White Lucent brightening mask on sephora and everyone who said they had light or fair skin loved it and saw a real difference in their skin. But the reviewer who had "medium" skin tone said it didn't work for her. So I'm wondering if it only works for fair skin. My skin is "wheatish".. it's a lot of money so i want to be sure.
I have heard nothing but great reviews for Shiseido White Lucent brightening kit and even my mom has been using it for a few months so I can personally see a difference in her skin. Its amazing and after my delivery i'A I plan on buying it.

If you're in Pakistan, then the only way is ordering it online, and nobody except nords delivers to Pakistan!
