It seems as if my skin is adamant on not cooperating with me as of recently. Yet again I have another issue with my facial skin.
I was applying my foundation and make-up routine as normal and suddenly noticed that all over my face especially around my chin, lower cheek and at the corner of my eyes area, i have small micro bumps/spots. These spots do no seem like normal breakouts to me at all. In fact, they seem like the rash kind of spots?. I dont know if what has affected it is the fact that about 3/4 days ago, my face suddenly felt very itchy and broke out in a rash. But this was an area different to where my spots are now. That area was along my jaw. Now i definitely know that i am not allergic to anything. So what is this and what can it be? Surely not a rash as arent they supposed to go after a bit? I drink loads of water a day and eat healthy. So what can possibly be causing this and how do i get rid of it? will microdermabrasion be a good solution?
p.s. you can only see these spots in direct sunlight.
Milia maybe? Exfoliation with salicylic acid can help. You can get them professionally removed from an esthetician or derm through a lancing needle: it doesn't hurt. And afterwards use exfoliation to keep them at bay.
Google milia and let us know if what you have looks like that.

ewwww some of the pics on google are beyond gross! but no thankfully it doesnt look like that. Mine are very very very tiny and have no colour. literally like a speck of sugar/salt.
A facial sauna is useful in treating milia and unclogging pores as it helps loosen and remove dead skin cells and debris. Soak a clean towel in hot water and wring out the excess water. Place the towel on your face for a few minutes and then remove it. Repeat a couple of times. Do this daily for about a week or a little more.
