I just read the description of this on the product’s website. Nothing it in says that it’s meant to remove scars.
Many people experience some type of peeling when starting AHA’s or BHA’s. Usually that skin builds tolerance after time and handles the product better. That does not mean that the product is not working.
BTW, products like this (this has salicylic acid and retinol) makes your skin VERY sensitive to the sun to make sure you wear a good sunscreen everyday. Otherwise you will get age/sun spots.
