I have been reading about these on this forum and am a little confused, I want to start doing this but I don’t know where to start, what products I require, where I can get them from, instructions, side affects etc. any one able to break it down for me?

Zimzimma: Do a search on this forum for "chemical peel", "glycolic peel", and "lactic peel". A lot of threads will show up. All the things you're asking about has been discussed extensively.

A chemical peel can be performed in a doctor’s office or in a surgery center as an outpatient procedure.The skin is thoroughly cleansed with an agent that removes excess oils and the eyes and hair are protected. One or more chemical solutions, such as glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid or carbolic acid (phenol), are applied to small areas on the skin. These applications produce a controlled wound, enabling new, regenerated skin to appear.

But they're certainly not the only ones. There are plenty others that sell peels. Just make sure they have good reviews. :)

If you're in the UK and looking for TCA you can try eBay or Amazon..

I have bought from Makeup Artist's choice and they shipped quite quickly to England.. Can't remember how much extra the shipping charge was tho..
