Skin looks tired ..

My skin seems tired these days .. the face has that worried expression , when actually it is not so .

Any simple home remedies to deal with this ?

Worried expression stems more from emotions and I don’t think that can fixed by topical remedies; that would require taking measures to relax your mind and reduce stress.

But if skin looks dull, exfoliation can brighten it up. Followed by a clay mask or even just the classic desi mask of besan, haldi, yogurt, and a bit of lemon juice. You can take some lemon essential oil, which is more potent than lemon juice, dilute that with a carrier oil or even just your moisturizer and it is said to brighten up your face whilst also evening out skin tone. Apart from that, drink plenty of water.

Getting adequate sleep, eating a lot of fruit/veggies, and exercising regularly (especially cardio and yoga) makes a noticeable difference on my skin.

Apart from that, a Vitamin C serum with L-Ascorbic acid is great for brightening up the complexion. Sorry I can’t suggest home remedies since I don’t really use them.

IS there a particular brand you’d recommend for vitamin c serum?

I make my own so I haven’t purchased one for years. But there are tons available on Amazon for reasonable prices that gets great reviews. Just make sure you read the ingredient list and see that it contains L-Ascorbic Acid.

Have you been getting enough sleep?
Water, exfoliate, mask and yoga…definitely works.
