Skin Care

Natural stuff.

I know Besan ka aata is supposed to do wonder…and Coco Butter too…

Also - what about Cleansers - what good cleansers are out on the market. My skin is somewhat oily - the typical T-region of the face.

Oh, and update: The acne is going away - YAY!!!

a paste made from pissi huee chanay ki daal mixed with milk....

EDIT: and yes, the acne usually leaves when the teens leave....

Tea tree oil. I was advised to get this for the typically oily t-zone part of the face. The one I got is a toner and you can get it at The Body Shop. Actually, they have a tea tree oil cleanser for it too but I only got the toner.

i’ve heard that acne hits everyone at some point in their life..the majority get it in their teens, but 20-somethings may also get it…i’ve seen 20-somethings with braces and bad skin

i haven’t hadmuch skin trouble , except for an allergic reaction or two…but none of the “pizza face” syndrome among teenagers…i hope I won’t break out in my 20s :bummer:

use fruit acids, the best....

One of my cousins had Acne errupted in her late 20’s…:yukh:

Tea tree oil and witch hazel

so where do u get this tea tree oil from and
how do u use it?

From any pharmacy Sajal. Most cosmetic lines carry their own brand version of tea tree oil or witch hazel too. But it'll always be cheaper getting it from a pharmacy if you don't mind that it doesn't come in fancy packaging.

PCG, how did you get your acne to clear up?

I have used besan in the past, jasmine(chamaili) ki khali as a face wash, multani mitti, ubtan, tea tree oil etc etc. I finally got tired of nothing working, and went back to my derm. Alhamdulillah no more breakout as of right now, for the past few months. He prescribed me mnocycline with clyndomacine phosphate and some sulfur ointment for daytime and retin A for nigh time.

you know this could be embarrassing to admit, but who the hell cares - its not like i know any of you in real life.

:D

I had kidney stones about 2 weeks ago - the damn stone got stuck in my ureter, but that's besides the point.

After I was released from the hospital I stayed away from dairy, red meat, coffee, tea, sodas (anything with caffeine really), and i drank loads of water.

I still have blemishes - but those go away with time as the dead skin falls off.

I know there are a few blemish creams on the market, but that stuff never worked for me in the past. Just use a lot of facial scrub, and maintain your healthy diet.

:)

And detox your system like I did - works pretty well.

oh it depends also on your age, Ira - I'm well past puberty. WELL PAST. If you're still in the stages of puberty - or a bit past it, it could be just due to the hormones.

PCG, thanks for the detoxifying bit advice. I dont think thats gonna work either. Allah knows what the heck is actually wrong with me but still, Alhamdulillah. I am wayyyy past puberty. I actually am older than you so its def not the teenage-hormones-willgetbetterwhenyouareolder kinda thing.

you’re older than me? good to know ke mein abhi bhi “choti” hoon.

now that the acne is going away, tell us about your diet. Still stuck at 198.

By the way, I had horrible time with my acne. Some of the blemishes are still there. :teary1: :teary1:

skin care

doesn't rose water do something...if you make a mix for it with other stuff. I heard it either does something for the face or for hair. Irem baji or Sadzz baji do you guys know?
