Re: Skin care routine
^Your under eye doesn't produce moisture so you have to apply some sort of cream or moisture. Doing that should help with the concealer. I like the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Cream.

can i use it on everday basis? does it make them disapear?
Re: Skin care routine
oiling is best for eyes. u don't need any expensive eye cream ur regular moisturizer or any good oil dabbed by iddle finger under the eye n gently massaged should help. use a silicon based primer before make up to cover those lines.
Re: Skin care routine
Paheli, where do you get your Retin A from? Is it the microgel or the cream you're using?
You sound like me. :)
I have spent so much money, energy and hours figuring out my skin. If you have sensitive skin, your face forces you to pay attention to these things, lol.
I have also recently started to become diligent about my makeup removal. This has made a significant difference in my skin. I try to skip it altogether a couple of days during the week.
I am looking to add to my night time routine though. A night cream and an eye cream to hydrate around my eyes. My skin under my eyes is dry and that scares me...its like begging for wrinkles. :(
Thanks Reha! I get my Retin A from Alldaychemist.com. No prescription needed and its super cheap. They charge a flat fee of $25 for shipping but each tube of RA is like around $3! You can't beat that price anywhere! I usually order 5-6 tubes at once. I use the .025% cream. (on a side note, they also have the generic version of Latisse!).
I totally agree on the comment about make-up! I used to wear full-face MU daily most of my 20's. But in the last year or so, I've stopped wearing MU daily and have noticed a improvement. My skin isn't as dull as it used to be. I think minimizing wearing of MU and also, being prompt about removing it makes a diffrence in the long run.
As for your eyes, in my opinion you don't need to spend $$ on any separate eye cream. Use Retin A around the eyes too for wrinkles/fine line prevention....and use the rosehip oil to moisturize. I moisturize my entire face (including the entire eye area) with Argan Oil.
Re: Skin care routine
DAY: I use Clinique's Rinse-off Foaming Cleanser, rosewater and rosehip oil to tone and Clinique's Dramatically Different Lotion to moisturise. Then The Body Shop's Vitamin E undereye cream and Vaseline as a lip balm. I also apply sunblock when I go outdoors. NIGHT: I used to do my daytime routine at night too but then I got lazy and skipped it all. I've actually noticed my skin is better without. Less is more perhaps?! So I just apply almond oil around the eyes. Is it really that necessary to moisturise at night too?
Re: Skin care routine
Oh, I also use a homemade weekly face mask too: besan, haldi and lemon juice. It helps keep blackheads at bay.

Re: Skin care routine
wow, you guy have some amazing routines!
what is lactic acid used for?
what is this manuka honey mask a lot of people have mentioned?
what about rosehip and argan oil?
being busy with a little one my routine is pretty simple...cetaphil in the morning followed by oil of olay.
use clarisonic brush at night to wash off makeup. sometimes i used dermalogica power firm around my eyes and forehead.
i'm hitting my 30s...and starting to get wrinkles on my forehead and around the eyes...what should i use to help prevent/reduce/slow them down?
i feel like i'm not doing enough after reading everyone's posts :). Please share your recommendations for me.

Re: Skin care routine
I cleanse my face with my glycolic cleanser and clarisonic brush. Then I apply my Image Vitamin C serum and rebalancing gel (for oily skin) from Boots No. 7. That's my day routine.
And then at night, it's pretty much the same. I might (once or a couple times a week)....wash face with glycolic cleanser, apply lactic acid wash,...and after my skin has been exfoliated apply a mask of manuka honey for about a half hour or so. Wash the honey off...apply a chilled toner (it contains witch hazel and aloe vera)...or I might even tone with cooled green tea. After toning...apply moisturizer (vitamin C serum).
what do vitamin c serum do ?
Re: Skin care routine
does hyaluronic acid really do it's job? any detailed reviews would be great.
vitamin c and retinol definitely are effective and i take c as a supplement along with my other skin, nail, hair vitamins and apply C on my skin and it does even out skintone
