I have nearly always spent on buying good beauty products - things that would actually show up on my skin. Moisturizers etc have always taken such a side line for me. I use L’oreal/Clean and Clear facial foams everyday to wash my face, follow the normal OCM method if I have to take off mascara or a lot of makeup, use a L’Oreal moisturizer, have a Stives apricot scrub in my counter to scrub after every other week, and own 2-3 saeed ghani/freeman clay masks. It isn’t a lot but apparently it is not enough as my skin has really taken a downhill and keeps getting dull and dryer each day.
So ladies! what are your favorite skin care products/brands?(Please not high end ones as I can’t afford to spulrge on them right now :(). Toners, moisturizers, oils, masks, scrubs, eye creams, night creams, gels to help with acne/scarring etc?. Hopefully this post will help others too as I am sure a lot of women don’t really follow proper skin care regimes. It is now possible in Pakistan to get things shipped from all over the world but after adding on shipping and customs we end up paying almost twice of what it would have cost otherwise so budget is a huge issue.
Use any sensitive skin cleanser such as Cetaphil, then use a sensitive skin was like Johnson's baby wash and then follow up with a sensitive skin moisturizer such as Lubriderm. The sensitive skin preparations really keep things to a minimum so your skin doesn't take a toll.
Try this: Get a small jar of raw honey. It's pricier than processed honey, but it's cheaper than the cost of cleansers. Take about a teaspoon and gently massage it on your face for a minute or two; this will promote circulation. Let it sit for 15-30 minutes and then wash off. It's antibacterial, locks in moisture, and is full of nutrients. Wash your face every morning with it. Tone your face with chilled rose water and apply moisturizer. Give raw honey a shot; try it for about a month if you can and see how it goes.
Don't these oils clog pores? I am so scared of getting acne. Like I follow the OCM method and after that I always use my cleanser to take off any residue left
