I am new here and like ur all thread. I hv searched but didn’t find the topic of skin care above 40. Actually my mom hv open pores and dry skin. i wanna knw abut her all. means skin care products:wt type of product she must use? and facial what type she so? and wt type of multivitamin she should use. GIna i hope u will help me to sort it out/ and others who knw plZz let me know. thanx in advanvce.

-she should do the normal things most women do (cleanse, moisturize, tone....exfoliate!!) [boots no.7 renewal exfoliator is good]
-get some anti-aging creams depending on her skin type.
PeterThomsRoth is good, Shiseido is good to start with (really heavy stuff)
-it's good to start with a day cream and see how it goes and then buy serums, eye cream, etc once she gets used to a brand or likes it...
there are many products out there that offer similar results, it depends on your budget and the results you want and the products that suit your skin.

Hmm well I heard olay regenerist is awesome. Tomato is known to make pores smaller.
1.Taking steam opens up the pores
2. try using a scrub (exfoliator)
3.followed by a good cleanser.
There are so many products out there Body Shop has some good stuff, just try products and brands that suit your mom and go from there.

She needs to do the normal things like cleanse, tone, exfoliate (twice a week) and moisturize.
She should be adding night creams - eye and all over to her regimen.
Aside from that, facials become extremely important as time goes on. Chemical peels (there are several types) can also be done but it depends on budget and skin type.

Today i hv heard on tv above 26 women should apply to type of creams at night on the alternative days.
1: glycolic cream
2: collagen +antioxidant cream.
but it again question is abut products. anyone know the creams related to that products???????????
