I think to a particular extent, it may be nerves. It’s good that I can assure her that things will get better. She is devastated that after the efforts they have put into getting to where they are, things stand thus that she finds herself unfullfiled afterwards. She worries about it becoming more emphatic over time and her resenting him eventually for it.
