Six die in Croatia train crash

**A train in Croatia has crashed on the line between Zagreb and the coastal city of Split, killing at least six people and injuring 20, officials say.**The incident happened when the two-carriage train derailed shortly after noon near the village of Rudine, around 30km (19 miles) from its destination.

Transport officials said it was not yet known what had caused the accident.

Television pictures show one carriage broken in half. About 90 passengers were believed to be on board the train.

The train is frequently used by many Croatians travelling to holiday resorts on the Adriatic coast. It was not immediately clear if foreign tourists were among the casualties.
