As some of you may know my sister is getting married this fall and I am looking for something to desi to wear on her shadi. Please help me out as I am not that fashion savvy when it comes to desi wear.

Re: Sister's wedding
What is your sister wearing?
Re: Sister's wedding
my sister is wearing a red normal sharara or gharara wateve ru call it ... and the groom is wearing a black sherwani
^ In that case, you should avoid the black sherwani! Why don’t you go for something that compliments your sister’s outfit! White/ cream goes nice with red! ![]()
Maybe something similar to this:
Re: Sister’s wedding
I agree that don’t wear black since the groom is going for it. Wear like a cream or white kurta shalwar. Kurta shalwars looks really cute.
Here are few pictures:
Re: Sister's wedding
Is there a colour scheme for the family i.e. do you have any other sisters? you could wear a plain white/cream kurta or sherwani and coordinate your scarf with your sister who is the bride or perhaps another sibling?
For my wedding all my family (females) are wearing ferozi sarees and my bros will wear white sherwani with ferozi scarf.
Just an idea - but good luck!
Re: Sister’s wedding
