Well..what do I say bout him. He’s one of da greatest players Cricket’s eva produced. In my view, da greatest batsman ever. If he hits, da ball stays hit…such a powerful and stylish player he was (is) and cud destroy any bowling attack as he has proved in da past.

Good stuff. Some powerfull hitting. Viv loved to intimidate bowlers by hitting them with brute power. I loved the way he used to walk in to bat... chewing gum with jaws moving widely, hurried walk to the pitch as if he just couldn't wait any longer to kick some butt, swinging stretching arms as if he is going to hit a six of the very first ball and then taking guard just outside leg stump giving full view of the stumps to the bowler. Absolute beauty!. What a sight to see a batsman without a helmet taking on some of the fastest bowlers of the era (Thomo, Lillee, Willis, Imran, Hadlee, Beef and company)...
