Bachaey ki duaa

***lab pe aatii hai duaa banake tamannaa merii ***
***zindagii shammaa kii surat ho Khudaayaa merii ***

***duur duniyaa kaa mere dam a.Ndheraa no jaaye ***
***har jagah mere chamakane se ujaalaa ho jaaye ***

***ho mere dam se yuu.N hii mere watan kii ziinat ***
***jis tarah phuul se hotii hai chaman kii ziinat ***

***zindagii ho merii parawaane kii surat yaa rab ***
***ilm kii shammaa se ho mujhako mohabbat yaa rab ***

***ho meraa kaam Gariibo.n kii himaayat karanaa ***
***dard-ma.ndo.n se zaiifo.n se mohabbat karanaa ***

***mere allaah buraaii se bachaanaa mujhako ***
nek jo raah ho us raah pe chalaanaa mujhako

***The child’s invocation ***

**My longing comes to my lips as supplication of mine **
O God! May like the candle be the life of mine!

**May the world’s darkness disappear through the life of mine! **
May every place light up with the sparkling light of mine!

May my homeland through me attain elegance
As the garden through flowers attains elegance

May my life like that of the moth be, O Lord!
May I love the lamp of knowledge, O Lord!

**May supportive of the poor my life’s way be **
May loving the old, the suffering my way be

**O God! Protect me from the evil ways **
Show me the path leading to the good ways

Thanx. bro Azad ; that stanza was from a poem of khushall khan khattak
Khushal Khan Baba was a typical pukhtun stalwart.He made history and he wrote history.He was a man of pen and sword at the same time.He was staight forward and feared no one.his poetry was to awake the pukhtuns, he motivate the people toward bravery.

Da Afghan Pa Nang May Otar'ralaa Tora
Nangyalai Da Zamanay Khushal Khattak Yam

**My sword I grit upon my thigh **
**To guard our nation's ancient fame; **
**It's champion in this age am I, **
**The Khattak Khan, Khushal my name. **

If we study the poetry of both Khushhal khan and Iqbal, we will observe that their are a lot of simmilirities in their poetry. Following is a single example about that.

Khushhal
**Mena Zama Da Agha Zalmo Sara **
Che Pa Storo Bandi Achai Kamandona

Iqbal
**Muhabat Mjee Un Jawano Se Hai **
Sitaro Pe JO DathiI Hai Kamand

Iqbal also talked about Ego ,self realising like khushall khan khattak . His poetry gv us the idea of self respect.He ruled over the herats of men .

bahir haal jawaab nahi eis doa ka abb bi jab tahayoo may koch dair pihlay naind say yaad kartha hu aankian may nami ajthi hy, jawaab nahi iqbal ka:D
