Allah Most high says:

Stealing from the spoils of war
Stealing
Highway Robbery
Taking false oath
Oppression
Illegal gain
Consuming wealth acquired unlawfully

Giving and Accepting bribes
Woman’s imitating man and man’s imitating woman
Being cuckold
Marrying a divorced woman in order to make her lawful for the husband
this is indeed the truth:
Allah Most High says in His Glorious Book:
If you avoid the major (part) of what you have been forbidden (to do), We will cancel out for you your (other) evil deeds and will admit you (to Paradise) with a noble entry. (al-Nisa 4:31)

Is this list made in chronological order? starting from the biggest sin at number 1? That may or maynot be the case, but if it is, I wonder why backbiting is not included. in the top 35. Im sure it will be there in the back 35. Backbiting is described in the Qura'an as equivalent to eating ur dead brothers flesh.

Learning knowledge of the religion for the sake of this world and concealing that knowledge
Bertrayal of trust
Recounting favours
Denying Allah's Decree
Listening (to) people's private conversations
Carrying tales
Cursing
Breaking contracts
Believing in fortune-tellers and astrologers
A woman's bad conduct towards her husband
Making statues and pictures
Lamenting, wailing, tearing the clothing, and doing other things of this sort when an affliction befalls
Treating others unjustly
Overbearing conduct toward the wife, the servant, the weak, and animals
Offending one's neighbour
Offending and abusing Muslims
Offending people and having an arrogant attitude toward them
Trailing one's garment in pride
Men's wearing silk and gold
A slave's running away from his master
Slaughtering an animal which has been dedicated to anyone other than Allah
To knowingly ascribe one's paternity to a father other than one's own
Arguing and disputing violently
Witholding excess water
Giving short weight or measure
Feeling secure from Allah's Plan
Offending Allah's righteous friends
Not praying in congregation but praying alone without an excuse
Persistently missing Friday Prayers without any excuse
Unsurping the rights of the heir through bequests
Deceiving and plotting evil
Spying for the enemy of the Muslims
Cursing or insulting any of the Companiions of Allah's Messenger

for those who want to know what #64 is means
well "Offending Allah's righteous friends" kind of says it all. what it means is that it is a sin to hurt(offend)muslims who are Allah s.w.t.'s friends. If you were to start make fun of a Momin or any true believer....will be know as a sin... the trick is not to hurt any one's feelings b/c no one know but He the Highest and Greatest that who among us is His friend. I hope I explained and if not plz let me know

To me, the word 'friend' initially suggested an equal partner, but I can understand what you're trying to say. I'm just thinking if it was my initial reaction then perhaps the word 'friend' should be replaced with 'followers' to prevent confusion? I don't know, it's your post!
