Is homosexuality as/more/less forbidden in Islam as premarital sex is? Can someone please tell me what the prescribed punishments are for each act (homosexuality, premarital sex, extramarital sex) according to Quran and hadith.
What about other sins like stealing, lying, murder and others? Where do these stand?
after reading a lot of haters' cut and pastes of islamic scripture over and over, my conclusion is that homosexuality is no one's business unless at least two men have witnessed consenting sodomy - this applies to homosexuals as well as heterosexuals. and even this, only if islamic law has been imposed fully in society. maybe an expert on this like psycah can expand further.
I think that in Islam, both homosexuality and adultery are punishable by death. Pre-martial sex is punishable by lashes (don't know how many).
BTW, why do people always ask about Islamic punishments in such matters? Can anyone please shed light on the Islamic punishment for corruption, fraud and deceit?
^I did ask about things like fraud and deceit if you read the original post. I'm trying to figure out where those things stand in relation to things like homosexuality etc.
A sin is a sin is a sin. When you know its forbidden and prohibited then why ask more questions about it. I'm not exactly sure of the punishments but if you know its wrong and prohibited and there is a punishment for it regardless of how much or the least.
The way your answer is structured gives the undertone that whoever asks about punishments is contemplating committing "sins." This assumption on your part is offensive.
The question was and still remains for the purpose of increasing my knowledge which I do through asking questions and seeking answers.

I wasn't referring to one who is contemplating it, rather replying to the original question.
Its prohibited and sinful (lying, cheating, fornication, ect) according to Quran and Sunnah. The method and degree of punishment vary based on the sinful behavior as others have already mentioned.
we aren't arabs, nor do we live in the 7th century. It's a joke. There are more problems facing the nation collectively then this type of backwards thinking. Sirf pakistan may hi islam khatray may hota hai har waqt.
