Some ppl use 'sink' for the kitchen and 'basin' for bathroom..

Most don't care which is used..

in North America, the word Basin is hardly ever used...sink used is for both in the kitchen and in the washrooms.

My understanding was that the sink was the one in the kitchen, and the basin was the one in the bathroom :confused:
