Nami - Age difference of more than 5-6 years freaks me out to be honest. But yeah, I have seen some josheelay nasheelay 
PCG - Its not an age thing, its a personality thing. Personality can be the biggest repellent, and age gets the blame. Anyway, thats not directly relevant to the topic here.

ive seen women wwho are 19 marry someone whose 30+ but the girl looks and behaves wayyyyyyyyyy older,so its not like marrying ur father as pcg said, maybee alll depends on how u look too.

Zobia both the cases I know of , don't have this reason either . Few people just don't want it and I think its not fair to consider it an abnormality .

i know this one geezer who recently returned home with his wife's body and a week on he re-married to some almost 40 yrs his junior, to a 24 year old. Apparently his family here want nothing to do with him and he's moved.

This practice is sick. There should be balance in all respect. Clearly someone being 48 having the headstart would have the financial and being settled advantages over a 24 year old man.
However one must also think he would be retiring a grey haired rat while the small kids are frankly still small kids..
Respectivly speaking; educated youngsters with decent jobs are capable of adequeate independance and resources.
Its about personal preferance on what and how somebody chooses to spend thier income. Younger people could also have family and parents to support, where the older man's dynasty could be pretty much extinct.

Plenty of guys in their late 20's and early 30's can afford to get married. You don't need to marry a 38 year old guy for stability.

Maybe the guys you know. In our families, we push them to become real men very early on.
