In Islam, it is not considered unchaste to get married and live a normal life. Not getting married your whole life is discouraged quite strongly. There is a hadith in which the Holy Prophet(saw) said that nikah is my sunnah and the one who doesn't follow my sunnah isn't from me.

definitely not single for life but enjoy single life to the fullest but still staying chaste, yes it is possible to do that, i ain’t marrying right out of college
impulsively marrying somebody just so you can have the great “married” tag is just a one way ticket to being taken advantage of and disaster. there is nothing wrong with taking your time in finding a good life partner. dont look for them online
